Man injured in cattle truck accident

A 55-year-old man was injured in a cattle truck accident on Highway 151 near Fond du Lac.

According to Wisconsin State Patrol, the cattle truck was traveling southbound when it swerved into the northbound lanes for unknown reasons. The truck then swerved back into the southbound lane, but fell on its side and skidded into the median. There were thirteen cattle in the car, and one was seriously injured after the accident.

Rescue crews were able to get the driver out of the car and he was airlifted to the hospital with was said to be non- life threatening injuries.

Truck accident are very traumatic for all of those involved. Our thoughts go out to the friends and family of the victim in the accident.
