Eggs recalled for possible salmonella contamination

Eggs that were produced by an Iowa company are being recalled due to a possible salmonella contamination.

The company, Wright County Egg, has said that the eggs were sold to distributors, food service companies, and food wholesalers. Multiple states are affected from the recall such as Illinois, Colorado, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Iowa and California.

The company has reported that there have been illnesses reported after people consumed the eggs. The possible contamination is only in shell eggs and other egg products made by the company have not been affected.
