One man injured in a car and motorcycle accident in Wassau

A motorcyclist was injured after being involved in an accident with another vehicle in Wassau, Wis.

The accident occurred as a 63-year-old man was driving his car southbound on Seventh Street when he failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with the motorcycle.

A fire was sparked in the engine area of the motorcycle after the impact. The motorcyclist was ejected from the bike on impact and was transported to the hospital where he was treated and later released. Police cited the driver of the car for failure to stop at a stop sign.
