DOT has decided to not lower speed limit in Outagamie County

The Department of Transportation has decided to keep the 45 mph speed limit on Outagamie County JJ even though the County Board made efforts to get the speed limit to change to 35 mph.

The principal at Fox Valley Lutheran spoke about his concerns of the the high speed limit potentially causing a tragic accident and that parents whose children attend the school will not be happy about the decision.

The school is now channeling their efforts to get a trail or sidewalk put in place on the mile stretch because without one, it is dangerous for the children to walk home.

If you or a loved one has been struck by vehicle while walking  or riding your bicycle in an area without the appropriate side walks, you may be able to receive compensation for your pain. Contact the bicycle accident lawyers Wisconsin by calling 800-242-2874.
