Snow throwers recalled due to injury hazard

The U.S. Product and Safety Commission along with the Wisconsin-based manufacturer have recalled the SnoThro 30LE Deluxe Snow Throwers for an injury hazard that they pose.

The recall affects nearly 1,040 units and was announced although no injuries have been reported. The issue in question comes about when people attempted to clear the collector or discharge while the machine is on and could run the risk of suffering a hand of finger injury. The recalled products were sold at Home Depot and other local dealers between October 2009 and January 2010.
