A former goalie for the South Carolina Stingrays, Kirk Daubenspeck,  is still in a coma after being injured in a Wisconsin truck accident six days ago.

The man played for the Stingrays from 1999-2006 and was inducted into their Hall of Fame in 2007. The accident occurred as the man was traveling in Wisconsin in his SUV and was struck by a tractor trailer.

The team is currently looking into raising money for the man’s medical bills. The president of the team traveled to Wisconsin to be with the man and his family .
