Motorcycle accident in Columbus kills one

A father was killed and his daughter injured in a motorcycle accident after their motorcycle collided with a  pickup truck at the intersection of State Highway 16 and 60.

The 54-year-old man was driving the motorcycle on eastbound Highway 16 when he attempted to make a left turn. A pickup truck that was traveling westbound collided with the motorcycle.

The father was pronounced dead on the scene by emergency crews and his 24-year-old daughter was transported to Columbus Hospital to be treated. The driver of the pickup truck was uninjured. Wisconsin State Patrol is investigating the details of the accident at this time.
