Two-vehicle accident in Iowa County sends several to hospital

A two-vehicle accident in Iowa County over the weekend caused several to be injured. The accident occurred at the intersection of County Highway F and State Highway 39 just before 11 a.m.

According to officials, the 25-year-old driver of the van failed to stop at a stop sign and drove into the path of another car. The car then struck the van on the driver’s side. There were six people in the van at the time of the accident and one person in the car.

The victims were taken to either Meriter Hospital or the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison in order to be treated. The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.
