One man injured in Byron motorcycle accident

A 49-year-old man was injured as a result of a motorcycle accident in Byron over the weekend.

According to police officials, the accident occurred as the man was test driving a motorcycle on Kelly Road and he went off the side of the road. This then caused the motorcycle to go airborne before striking an embankment.

He suffered life-threatening injuries as a result and was transported to the hospital by Flight for Life. Further information on the man’s injuries are unknown at this time.
