USDA using state specific Twitter for food recall

The USDA has announced that they will now be recalling unsafe food products on state specific Twitter feeds so that consumers will know exactly what foods in their area to avoid.

The state-specific food alerts will be sent to anyone who follows the USDA on Twitter in order to discuss recalled poultry, eggs and meat that have been recalled by the Department of Agriculture.

The recalls have usually been released through press releases or a general Twitter page, but because food recalls are usually state specific, the new system should be beneficial.

If you or a loved one has become ill after consuming a defective food product, contact the Wisconsin contaminated food products lawyers of Habush Habush & Rottier, S.C., by calling 800-242-2874 today.
