Hazardous defects cause recall of water slide

Defects ranging from sudden deflation to wind damage have prompted the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission to recall 21,000 Banzai inflatable water slides.

There have been several injuries reported from the use of this pool toy, and one death was recorded. A Colorado mother, 29, was on top of the slide heading into an in-ground pool when the slide deflated, causing her to break her neck. She passed away from her injuries the next day at a hospital.

Other accidents resulting from this hazardous product include a person becoming a paraplegic and another individual suffering from a broken neck. The stores that sold these defective products have agreed to issue full refunds to anyone who purchased the slide.

If you have been injured due to a defective product, please contact the Wisconsin product liability lawyers of Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. by calling 800-242-2874 today.
