Wisconsin woman receives 6th drunk driving charge

A Wisconsin woman is facing her sixth drunk driving charge after she was arrested for speeding during inclement weather in Wauwatosa.

A Milwaukee deputy noticed that the woman was traveling at high speeds through the downpour and attempted to brake when she saw his patrol vehicle on the street. She continued to swerve through lanes and made an illegal turn over a double white line before she was pulled over.

The officer noticed the smell of alcohol and asked the woman to perform a field sobriety test. She failed the test and was ultimately charged with her sixth OWI. Her last arrest for drunk driving was in 2010, but the charges span all the way to 1992.
