1 dead, 2 injured in I-94 rollover accident

On Sunday afternoon in Dunn County, a single-vehicle rollover accident left two people with injuries and took another individual’s life.

The accident occurred near milepost 47 on I-94 around 11:30 a.m. in the afternoon. Three young men, who were on tour for their band, “While We’re Up,” were traveling in a Toyota Camry when a tire blowout caused the vehicle to roll over. The impact of the collision immediately killed the front seat passenger, who was 22.

The other two people in the car were injured, but not severely. The Wisconsin State Patrol issued a press release in regards to the accident and stated that the passengers were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash. Additionally, alcohol is not considered to be a factor in the accident.

Our deepest condolences go out to the victim’s family and friends.
