Kenosha boy attacked by a pit bull

A 7-year-old boy was severely injured after a ferocious pit bull attacked and bit him while playing, according to a report on Monday, November 25.

According to the Racine Police, the victim was playing in the house of his cousin on Friday, November 22 when the pit bull was disturbed by their noise. The boy’s mother, who helped to pull the dog off the boy, was also injured in the attack. Police said the boy sustained severe wounds that exposed his bone.

The boy, whose name was withheld, was treated at the Children’s Hospital in Wauwatosa.

The pit bull owner was cited after the dog was discovered to be unvaccinated and unlicensed.
