Thousands of cocktail glasses recalled by Libbey Glass

After receiving reports of accidental breakage, over 200,000 cocktail glasses are being recalled by the Ohio-based glassware manufacturer, Libbey Glass.

The recall affects at least 218,000 units of Bristol Valley Cocktail glasses made by Libbey Glass. At the time of the recall, the glassware maker had already received 16 incident reports where the glass broke unexpectedly.

The recalled glassware is a 7.75 oz glass and can be bought in liquor stores nationwide with price ranging from $1 to $4 per piece. Consumers who have bought the particular glasses are instructed to refrain from using the product.
