Over 1 million GM SUVs with airbag and seat belt issues recalled

General Motors (GM) issued another massive recall that affects over 1 million older Sports Utility Vehicles (SUV) with airbags and seat belts that may malfunction, Fox News stated on March 18.

In the new recall, at least 1.18 million various SUV models were recalled due to the airbags potentially not deploying if the operator fail to notice the airbag warning blinker on the dashboard. The issue also affects the seat belts, which may become loose in an event of a crash.

Just last February GM recalled millions of vehicles due to defective ignition starters.
