Kraft recalls 96k pounds of mislabeled hot dogs

On Sunday, April 20 Kraft voluntarily recalled 96,000 lbs of hot dogs due to a mislabeling issue.

In a statement, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) said packages of “Oscar Mayer Classic Wieners” do not inform consumers that the products could contain milk ingredients.

The issue was reported by a consumer on Friday, April 18. Kraft and the FSIS have not been informed of illnesses related to the labeling error. Consumers are advised to seek medical attention if they become sick from the affected hot dogs.
