On February 25, a three-vehicle accident killed one and injured one more on Highway 41. An 18 wheeler, box van, and car were involved.
The accident happened around 4:15 p.m. Police are still investigating what caused the the accident. There were no skid marks left behind. A chain reaction accident sent the box van and the car into the median. All of the vehicles were traveling southbound. The driver of the sedan later died of injuries suffered in the accident. The driver of the box van suffered non-life threatening injuries.
