The Consumer Product Safety Commission have recalled 1.8 million defective toy dart gun sets after the death of two boys, ages nine and 10.
Both boys died after chewing on the one-inch plastic darts when the dart slipped in their throats and the small suction cup on the dart cut off their breathing.
The toy dart gun set has been sold at the Family Dollar Store nationwide from September 2005 to January 2009. Officials are urging people to immediately take the toy away from children and dispose of it.
Poorly manufactured products can cause serious health issues or injury, our thoughts are with the families of the two victims.
