An aviation accident that occurred in mid-May in Sheboygan, Wisc. injured the pilot of the plane.
The 52-year-old pilot was in air when he realized that the single-engine airplane was experiencing engine problems. The pilot had originally intended to land at Sheboygan County Memorial Airport, but he was no longer able to make it there.
The plane came down in a farming field and flipped over once the landing gear collapsed on impact. The pilot was able to exit the plane by himself and only suffered minor injuries. Authorities are expected to conduct a full investigation.
