A dog bite case in Wisconsin Rapids, that left a 9-year-old girl injured, is still under investigation.
Humane officers in the county are still working to identify the dog that mauled the child while she was on her way home from school at the end of September.
The dog that the young girl identified as the one that attacked her is now in quarantine while police officials confirm that it is indeed the dog involved. Once the dog is properly identified, the family of the girl can then file charges against the dog’s owner.
