The two victims that were killed in the Dodge County train accident have now been identified.
The accident occurred as the two men were in a pickup truck shortly after 5:30 p.m. last Saturday and were heading south on Main Street.
The truck then went around a railroad crossing arm and was struck by an eastbound train. Both of the men, ages 48 and 41 were pronounced dead at the scene. There were 181 passengers on the Amtrak train at the time of the crash, but none of them were injured.
Our thoughts are with the friends and family of the victim.
