Last Thursday night after midnight, a pedestrian was left in a street with several injuries after being hit by a motor vehicle in Milwaukee. The 22-year-old pedestrian suffered a crushed pelvis, broken leg, and other internal injuries.
The driver of the motor vehicle, a 22-year-old Milwaukee man, was seen by bystanders speeding near North and Farwell Avenue. His vehicle shifted towards the side of the street, and that is when the pedestrian was struck. The driver left the scene before police arrived. The young woman was taken to a hospital to be treated for her varying injuries.
The description of the car led police to the suspect’s house. They found the man inside, and arrested him. He admitted to police that he was responsible for the collision.
